A tour is not a plan made of addresses, but of numbered stations — with a date, a note and a driving time that fits the vehicle.

What people want to know before their first portal.
What does Traveto cost?
The pricing model is not settled yet, so we name no amounts here. Some features are limited by volume — how many places per day, how many AI queries, how many portals. A few, such as export and tour planning, are tied to a paid tier. What applies in each case is shown in the application under your usage.
Does everyone travelling along need an account?
No. Anyone who is to plan along needs one — suggestions carry the name of whoever made them, and that requires a sign-in. Anyone who only wants to come along and look gets a link to the trip and needs no account.
What sets Traveto apart from a shared list or a group chat?
Three things a chat message does not have: a place on the map, an author beside the entry, and a visible status. A chat is chronological, a trip is not — and that is why, two weeks later, nobody can find what has already been booked.
Can several trips run at the same time?
Yes. A portal can hold several trips, each with its own period, its own colour and its own legs. The summer tour and the long weekend do not get in each other's way, and one place can belong to both.
Does the driving time work out differently with a caravan or a motorcycle?
Yes — the driving time is calculated for the vehicle entered and sits on the leg. Towing means different numbers than an estate car, and a motorcycle different ones again. A driving time that claims the same for everyone is not information.
Who is allowed to change what?
Three roles: the owner invites and removes, edit adds and reorders, read sees everything and changes nothing. The most common mistake is giving everyone read access only — then one person is planning alone again.
Can I share the trip with somebody who has no account?
Yes, in two ways. A trip can be shared as a link — whoever has it sees the trip without signing in. And a whole portal can be released as a public map via a code; visible then are places and categories only, no ratings, comments or distances.
Can I get the route onto my sat nav?
The legs can be exported as a GPX file with waypoints, which every common sat nav and most tour planners can read. For motorcycle routes there is also the handover to Kurviger, and the trip can be summarised as a PDF for printing.
What is AI used for — and does it decide anything?
In four places, and in none of them does it decide: suggestions for a place, an assessment of whether a place suits the trip, packing suggestions for the destination and period, and a trip summary as text. Which provider works behind it is interchangeable.
Where do the ratings and photos for a place come from?
For places that exist on Google, the rating, the number of reviews, photos and the map link fill themselves in automatically. A nightly sync keeps that current. For places with their own website, the title and description are taken across as well.
Does Traveto store my password?
No. Signing in runs through a separate identity service; no password is held in Traveto. The account can be deleted from within the application at any time.
Is Traveto available in English?
Yes. The language can be chosen between German and English and is tied to the account, not the portal — so within the same travel group everyone can read in their own language.
